Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO)

LANO provides capacity building to the nonprofit sector of Louisiana through education, advocacy and member services. he LANO New Orleans field office was developed to be a resource collaborative for local nonprofits recovering from the hurricanes of 2005. A wide array of services are provided to nonprofits , including capacity building, trainings, advocacy and public policy assistance and technical assistance. Services offered to members by LANO New Orleans include: Access to computers, the internet and other office technology Access to a Foundation Center Collaborating Collection and other resource materials Access to up to date public policy information at the local, state and federal levels
